So Worcesteshire put on a massive 225 of there 20 overs.
Tom kohler cadmore with 127 from 54 balls!!!
Is he still b3 sponsored? Top batting either way!
-
He is still with B3.. They posted his updates in their latest newsletter.
-
Come on Surrey!
-
Roy and Sanga having a bat off.
Both 15 of 7! Good start after Davies dismissal
-
Too many wickets being lost here.
Why are Surrey just Surrey? And everyone else has "Eagles" "Vikings" etc attached?
-
Jesus Christ Sussex got 242!!!

We're a proper club innit. I imagine there'd be a rather large disdain from the members if we were called the Surrey Pigeons or something
-
Didn't think Pillans had that in him!
-
The Surrey Brownhelmets - snigger!!

I'm sure they used to be called the brown caps didn't they?

Try and make a decent club badge from that hahaha
-
Bopara using SS as well?
-
Oh well he didn't hang around too long either for anyone to notice 2-1

Al - you love a lot of men don't you?

I was at lunch with a friend yesterday and she's of the firm belief cricket has consumed me beyond repair. She's probably right.
-
How did Roy drop that. Absolute goober
-
Catching is attrotious from the Surrey boys. May cost them this!
-
COME ON
-
Thank God for that
-
Good start for my boys! Getting smacked all round by TKC! I knew singing his name to the tune of No Limits last season at Riverside would come back to haunt us!
-
was an awesome display of batting by TKC. he then took 3 catches. he is a great lad and i had a chat with him after the game.
joe leach also took 5 wickets in the match. very good start for the rapids
-
Always feel quite excited for opening home night at Surrey. That being said Glammy hammered us last year here...
-
Today's game just showed how poor the standard of the t20 blast is! 18 sides just doesn't work!
-
Surely the mighty Surrey with a team full of former and future internationals on their London test ground getting stuffed by Glamorgan from div 2 shows that 18 teams works quite well?
-
Looking like Surridge has given up fighting over the SS branding - both Porterfield and Ronchi using SS bats
-
Bell has the worst guilty face ever!
-
This is some great stuff from Luke Wright
-
145 off 12
Somerset will need Gayle and mahayla
-
Captaincy has really brought out the best in Wright these past couple of seasons
-
Brilliant batting, loving this!
-
That six from Nash, welp
-
And tonned up. Great knock...
-
Just shows what happens when you bowl absolute rubbish for 20 overs and drop the guy twice. Good job we have a good batting line up but they certainly need to fire and fire quickly. Well batted, can only play what you are up against but we certainly didn't help ourselves with that rubbish.

Haven't seen much of this Mills fella but he's really cranking up the heat. Even with the wind, best part of 90+ mph
-
How quick is Mills!? Never watched him before
-
What an over. Shame his back can't take red ball cricket...
-
The ball that got Gayle was 93.3mph!
-
I'm glad T wasn't that quick when I faced him
-
Apparently Mustafizur is on his way to Sussex too. Quite a formidable bowling lineup in the making.
-
Liam Livingstone just gone for 55 off 23 smoked it around old Trafford
-

With a proclaimed broken handle.
-
More whip out of the bat then!!! It was some hitting!
-
204 needed!!
-
Ian Ward talking about storm damaged bats, clearly a fan of the CBF!
-
Plunkett clearly not a fan.
He's broke two bats and run out! Had to borrow one of joe roots. #village
Who only has two bats, seriously???
-
Should be getting fined for getting crap in a t20.
-
Cracking innings from root! 92 off 51 in vain.
He was pulling off some unreal whips at the end! 2 massive sixes with the flick of the wrists. Real flair.
Even buttler was commenting on them as they walked off.
-
Great knock from an astonishing player, like you said that massive six from a flick of the wrists was magical. He was too pleased with the teams/his innings!!
-
R O Y
-
Big reality check for Mills. Got taken for 55 from his 4.
-
Watching Sanga bat, having a lovely time
-
Great win for us tonight after a bit of a batting mare. Great stuff to end it from Tom Curran and Ansari.
We should just accept relegation and concentrate on white ball
-
Great game at glos last night (with a properly rowdy crowd) and a great moment for bat fans - AJ Tye came in and scratched around for a few balls before changing bat from an obviously high middled Grove to a blank that looked like more of an English shape, and smoked every ball he faced from then on! Including a straight six off the first ball of the last over, crucial winning moment. So yes it's true bat fans, change your willow and the runs will come ;)

Saw Klinger was in the runs again... The guy is a machine!

Bloke is astonishing, nothing remarkable to look at when batting most of the time but runs runs runs. How Australia didn't take him to the t20 world cup is beyond me!
-
Also we had a streaker at the Oval last night, I laughed.

Saw him "flash" past a camera whilst the sky crew was deliberately not focusing on him!
-
As a Sussex fan, I have always been interested why they have never been able to attract the big name players.
This season we have:
Ross Taylor - Good, but his best days are behind him.
Kulasekera - Would've thought this would be a good acquisition, but is getting smashed today
Shazhad - Very hit and miss.
Mills - Probably one of the few positive signings this season and he has been carted the last few games.
Wright - Very good player but the same as Taylor.
Nash - Having only scored his first t20 ton this year, shows he isn't the greatest.
Briggs - Not good enough for Hampshire, won't be good enough here.
Jordan - Never really does anything for Sussex
As well as a few players in and about.
When you look at the other counties, even when Sussex were division 1, they couldn't attract the likes of Gayle, Buttler, Finch, McCullum.
I know the first thing as always will be money, but surely they should be able to bring in some higher quality T20 players than they currently have.
-
Well Mustafizur was supposed to be there but isn't.
-
What has happened to the Yorkshire and Lancashire teams.
I have never seen them look so weak!

Half of the Yorkshire team are off with England
-
Sod the cricket, Bumble was talking fish and chips in Bridlington with Adam Lyth
-
6, 6, 6, 1,W, W
Quite the over.
-
This finish showing you don't need the international players to have a good finish
-
Michael Klinger racks up yet another century...over 20,000 professional runs and 50 centuries yet never managed to even earn a single cap for Australia in any format. Very sad.
-

Can't speak for Lancashire, but Yorkshire have
Root, Willey, Bairstow, Plunkett and Rashid in the England team. Sidebottom and Brooks injured and Travis Head about a week or two away from landing in the UK.
Shows there is a lot of potential at Yorkshire with some of these young lads showing what they can do. Hopefully some will be able to step up consistently.
-
Early days, but FINCHY
-
Slightly controversial but the CPL is probably a more interesting/competitive/better tournament right now compared with the T20 blast. Each CPL team has 6-7 international players and only a few fillers.
-
Would you rather spend 6 weeks in barbados or manchester...
-
SURREY!

Make it Yorkshire and I could be persuaded to make the trip up North!
Not a fan of flying personally :-[

I imagine from next year when it's played in the July-August summer block it'll be far more appealing, particularly for overseas players. Wouldn't surprise me if a few stuck around after the Champions Trophy
-
How can Rory Kleinfeldt be so massive?
His job is to run around all day and bowl 85mph, yet he's quite clearly responsible for the recent pie shortage.
-
Bell was batting very nicely! Northamptonshire not doing badly for a bunch of gym dodgers!
-
Watching highlights from Yorkshire vs Durham last night.
Willey not allowed to bowl after 2 full tosses over waist height.
Also notice Borthwick using a Kook. When did he leave Puma?

Couple of weeks ago he switched
Still wears Puma boots

Err, wtf is Zaidi's bat?
-
I was more horrified by the running that boosts wicket was ****
-
I'm more laughing at warne being set up by keys on the "Chris gayle" saga........
-
Err, wtf is Zaidi's bat?
It's flying!!

Bet the MCC declare it illegal

Has been for years! Stanford game had to be played as an unofficial game as he wanted the players using black bats which the ICC wouldn't allow.
-
black or not, it went https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UnHHmGIyZ3E (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UnHHmGIyZ3E)
-
did you see him scone tendo? blasted it straight into his grill as he was backing up. could have been nasty.
-
How far did they bring the boundaries in?! Although I'm sure he wouldn't have been able to clear the 60m boundaries using a bat with smaller edges...

I was in the Warner stand last night and the boundary to there was a small hit, they looked at least 20-30 yards from the fence all the way round.
The straight six to win off Finn though was some shot
The one where he cracked Tendo in the head earlier in the over was nasty, he absolutely nailed it, Tendo wore it like an absolute champ though
-
So we have to beat Kent tonight, hope Glamorgan beat Essex and also spike up the net RR in order to have any chance of going through.
Thrown so many games away this year...
-
GM sponsoring a lot of nearly men at the moment, is it a deliberate strategy?
In the Yorkshire line-up alone:
Lyth
Lees
Head
All on the fringes of the national team.
Willey's StemGuard nearly getting a workout, very sharp bouncer by Wood. Appreciate it clips on so isn't damaged when it gets hit, but it's starting to worry me how easily it does detach. Shrey's Neck Guard looks like a very poor relative compared to it, but I doubt it'd ever come detached...
