Ian Ward talking about storm damaged bats, clearly a fan of the CBF!

Plunkett clearly not a fan.

He's broke two bats and run out! Had to borrow one of joe roots. #village

Who only has two bats, seriously???

Cracking innings from root! 92 off 51 in vain.

He was pulling off some unreal whips at the end! 2 massive sixes with the flick of the wrists. Real flair.

Even buttler was commenting on them as they walked off.

Great knock from an astonishing player, like you said that massive six from a flick of the wrists was magical. He was too pleased with the teams/his innings!!

Great win for us tonight after a bit of a batting mare. Great stuff to end it from Tom Curran and Ansari.

We should just accept relegation and concentrate on white ball

Great game at glos last night (with a properly rowdy crowd) and a great moment for bat fans - AJ Tye came in and scratched around for a few balls before changing bat from an obviously high middled Grove to a blank that looked like more of an English shape, and smoked every ball he faced from then on! Including a straight six off the first ball of the last over, crucial winning moment. So yes it's true bat fans, change your willow and the runs will come ;)

Bloke is astonishing, nothing remarkable to look at when batting most of the time but runs runs runs. How Australia didn't take him to the t20 world cup is beyond me!

Saw him "flash" past a camera whilst the sky crew was deliberately not focusing on him!

As a Sussex fan, I have always been interested why they have never been able to attract the big name players.

This season we have:

Ross Taylor - Good, but his best days are behind him.
Kulasekera - Would've thought this would be a good acquisition, but is getting smashed today
Shazhad - Very hit and miss.
Mills - Probably one of the few positive signings this season and he has been carted the last few games.
Wright - Very good player but the same as Taylor.
Nash - Having only scored his first t20 ton this year, shows he isn't the greatest.
Briggs - Not good enough for Hampshire, won't be good enough here.
Jordan - Never really does anything for Sussex

As well as a few players in and about.

When you look at the other counties, even when Sussex were division 1, they couldn't attract the likes of Gayle, Buttler, Finch, McCullum.

I know the first thing as always will be money, but surely they should be able to bring in some higher quality T20 players than they currently have.
