Title: T20 Blast: Notts v Essex
Post by: tim2000s on August 08, 2016, 05:52:09 PM
What's interesting about this match? Two of the best English keepers of the last 20 years that were rather messed around by England as they looked for a Gilchrist....

I still think Foster is one of the best glove men that you'll ever see.

Agree with the above. Two of the best keepers this country has ever had.

Pathetic batting from Essex against spin! Making Samit look world class. Really poor cricket

Michael Bates, still rate him as the best keeper I've seen, given the opportunity he would have been the best ever but just couldn't score a run.

Double agree on this. Met him the other week at Ageas, came over all fan boy (must have been the Marlborough I was quaffing in the Players Bar)

Lovely chap as well, shame as he's miles ahead of Wheater. McManus looks a very good prospect though
