I've noticed how everyone on this forum loves acquiring shiny new gear, be it a custom bat, bargain sorts or new bag to fit it all in, it has got me wondering. What is your oldest bit of equipment that you still regularly use? And how old is it (if you can remember)?

Trusty old Box! Probably at least 7 seasons old!
-
Aero P2s that must be about 4 years old off the top of my head.
Most of the time my kit is lucky to last 4 months... :-[

My Kippax bat with black dragon stickers.
-
My trusty Shock Dr, had it for maybe 10 years... Next up are my spiked trainers about 5 seasons old.

That I regularly use (if net/wet/indoor bat counts), would be the bat I've got a refurb thread on, a local shop brand called Phoenix (pretty sure it's a Hunts though). Thinking about it it's from 2012, not that old! Man that feels like a long time ago though.

GN Powerbow Bag

I've got some aero p2s from 2007 that are inmy t20/midweek kitbag

Me. ;)

As I started this thread I suppose I should contribute to it too.
My oldest bit of kit is my box, still using the first (& only) men's box so it's probably about 20-something years old
-
Toss up between the box and my aero strippers, that'll be changing for the new year though as I'm hoping to place an order for some new thigh pads that are less bulky

Pah! Is that all. Mine has passed 20 years of use.

It's not very often you get to feel sorry for an inanimate object.

I have a slazenger fleece from the early 90's , and a team mate still wears a C & Q Rodeo cricket shirt from the 1980's.
I got rid of my old pink litesome box ( ala Bumble and Jeff Thompson ) in 2014 after wearing it since 1981. Lucky I had my two kids early!

I have an albion hest guard that i still use a bit against the bowling machines . Bought it in 92 .
-
Oldest bits in my possession would be my thighguard and box. 6-7 years old both. Do have bats in that age, but not in my kitbag.
-
Unbranded Box that I've had for 25 years. Why haven't I changed it, well people can see you pads...they can't see your box (not on the field anyway).
-
I only came back to playing towards the end of the 2015 season having not played since 98/99 when I went to uni, the only two bits of kit left over from then are my Masuri helmet from 94/95 and a mitre grip cone.
-
My box is minimum 15 years old. Also my Masuri lid must be 4 seasons at least and my current Asics spikes are Gel Gully 3 and I think there own model 8 now so 5 years old.
-
my woodworm pads and gloves had them for 11 years use them in midweek and nets
-
Must be my Masuri keeping lid. About 4 years old now.

Cricket jumper I have been using since mid nineties, but was from a relative who started using it in the early 70s.
