When you are poorly you go off to see your doctor, Nottingham being a wee bit too far for a quick drop in, I made the call.
My tennis elbow isn't going anywhere fast so I needed a bat with a lighter pick up, but didn't want some plank that had no response. The doc pulled out a rabbit out of his hat, the bat is 2lb 8.5 and the middle is so so very long. It is awesome and early knocking in has had to go outside, I hit the ceiling twice :)
Pick up is fantastic for such a full profile and hopefully I will do it justice, the markings prevent it from being a 3 stripe or Crown, but looks don't bother me as long s it goes.
Great grains in the driving area.

Looks really nice mate, i will venture to a B3 @ some stage. When i can afford a crown.
-
lovely bat @LDifa do you mind telling me the profile number of this bat, definatly interested in getting something similar
-
"The markings prevent it from being a 3 stripe or Crown". Yip I think thats called grading ;)
Nice looking bat though mate and the shape is very nice for the weight. Good luck with the elbow, mine came right after time and rest.
-
Belta. Proper bat, that.
-
Looks a bit like a Tandulkar profile with a low middle, looks thick in toe.
Hope goes well for you
-
I can get the number off the handle, but you will need to spk with the doc regarding the profile number - I am mega impressed with it
-
Nothing wrong with a bat weighing 2lb 8.5ozs. There are plenty of bats of lighter bats that ping. Hope you score plenty of runs with it and the elbow gets better.
-
Agree with @SOULMAN1012 , looks very Tendulkarish. Nice looking profile!
-
@LDifa - that's a really nice looking bat - well done.
If it was possible, could we see a proper side-on picture of the profile and know the handle number - that would be great.
-
added the side on pic, will get the handle number this evening
-
Great stick, good work. The more B3s I see, the more I want one!
-
Looks a lovely bat that. A few lads at my club have these and swear by them.
I'm swaying between a B3 or an Aldred butterfly. decisions decisions!!
-
Nowt wrong with that weight! I've got a New Baqlance in the exact same weight as this and the middle is collossal. Hope it serves well, i've never used a B3 but they always look top notch.

Like that profile
-
Awesome shape that and very big for such a light bat
-
Looks similar to 1271 Trott profile which averages at 2'15. Must be a super low density cleft.

Yes I thought that although I reckon it's a tweaked one

I think it is a misconception that lighter bats can't ping. I have a GM flare at 2-7 with 20-25 edges and 30 spine, and it pings amazing. also, I find with a lighter bat, I have greater bat speed AND decide/play the ball much later, so any loss of ping effect compared to heavy bat can be compensated..and what you might lose in front foot shots, you gain in back foot shots, not to mention at end of a long innings, you dont feel tired..so i personally, see only advantages to lighter bats...

For the last few years i have been using a GN Dynadrive and i noticed that the type of shots i was playing was being reduced. No pulls or hooks and basically drives and cuts only. this season i have switched to an older lighter bat and i'm now scoring much better and have a much better range of shots.
Lighter bats FTW!
