I think there's a guy in Holland selling one. The name escapes me though.

These are just from their Instagram! An excellent example of what will happen when the regs come into place. It'll be a market based more on density.

There won't be any real USP among brands once the new regulations are in force (unless someone goes rogue and makes illegally big bats!)
Soon you'll just have to pick which stickers you like and get your generic shaped compliant bat  :(

Legend is pick of a very samey bunch . These regs are depressing. ..... curse you Ricky Ponting et al !

Some rather large profiled ones! Luckily the regs won't hit us lowly players for a long while, if at all!
You can imagine the cricket Police - doing you for Class A bats!  :(

Buying off the shelf it will hit us though Pete, because surely the average Joe Bloggs customer won't get the choice of the bigger bat.

So therefore Custom becomes the only way to get the bigger bat?

I can't make out the name of the bat between Predator and Legend.

It's a shame really what MCC and Ponting have done. The recent ICC CT2017 results prove that bat size matters nothing against good bowling.

It's Atomic @InternalTraining

Of all those bats, Sliver and the Predator have nice high spines and thick toes. Maybe, it is the angle.

The atomics & predators will fly off the shelves 2lb 7oz to 2lb 9oz , & yes some have over 40mm edges & 20mm+ toes , velocity has the regulation edge size.

I think you might need to see someone about this toe obsession.

A decent bat maker, and they are very hard to find these days.

Me personally find too thick of a toes makes the bat pick up heavier  :)

GN's are pretty hard pressed and take a fair whilr to really open up in my experience.

Not all GN bats are made equal though. I've had 4 Vortex bats pass through my hands; 3x 5 Star and 1x LE. They were all stamped on each shoulder which I'm told means Indian made. The 5 Star bats were very hard pressed but were still going from the off. The LE wasn't as hard, still went very well and had better balance. What I'm trying to say is thankfully there was a noticeable difference between the grades.

No complaints againt my GNs , But I only use one of them -  weak toe but launches balls like an over-caffeinated monkey off a trampoline!

Have any of the toes actually broken on any of your GN's?

Mine is just a observation, the ping is still good but just doesn't feel as soft as some other bats.
And with brand new ball with a pronounced seam it doesn't seem to be making any dents.

Sorry, reviving an old thread.

I'm in Sydney at the moment for annual leave, and thought it would be rude not to check out the Kingsgrove store, especially since there have been many who speak highly of the quality they have.

Here are some teasers, and I'll do a full review later on.

Lucky sod.....

Looks like you got the plastic out for a couple, have you got access to a piano in Aus so you can do a proper Chad review?   ;)
