2nd net since early July. Tried to bat very aggressively. Bowling machine speeds are between 65-80mph for the nerds.

Where do you take your guard? May just be the angle of the camera but at times it almost looks like you're taking guard outside leg stump. Other times it looks a bit more traditional.
Sneaking suspicion that if your guard is moving around a lot you might find it harder to judge the line of the ball than you need to.

Middle stump, it’s the angle on the camera

You look like you are trying to hit the cover off absolutely everything. The guys who are most effective at batting aggressively, are those that look like they aren’t trying to do so. You can still be selective whilst playing aggressively

Yeah agree
Something I do when I haven’t batted in a while, want to feel bat on ball and try to hit it like an exocet. A habit I’ll look to get out of over the winter

What does your top hand do?

Send him into a frenzy after an aggressive net session?

What does your top hand do?
In what sense?

Don’t mean to be rude but looks a bit pointless. Looks like you’ve just gone to hit the ball without really having a focus or something to work on.
I’d be surprised if you actually bat like that in a match!

Pretty much, I hadn't batted since July as I broke my finger. More of a hit for a bit of fun in all honesty

Practice leaving anything that's not in your "zone", you are trying to hit every ball and also swinging at those that you are out of zone/off stump.

In what sense?
It looks to me that your top hand doesn’t do anything at all

Fair enough. Trying to over hit I think.
My mate runs a cricket coaching business here in Liverpool so had a few nets with him since.
Getting to something like it, I'll post a vid after the next session.
