Title: XI's
Post by: FattusCattus on May 04, 2022, 11:36:05 AM: Just for fun again, I remember pro's of the past talking about making up teams based on a subject - Fat XI, Crap XI, Baby-faced XI, Rabbits XI, Fearsome Overseas Xi etc, so I thought we might like to make up a few on here.

My first attempt is a double barrelled or hyphenated XI. As always, I've had to bend the rules a little, so I'm happy to drop a few of the dodgier ones from the starting line-up :D

I can't believe that you have not found space for Flat Jack Simmons. A man so hungry, he routinely asked his rides to drop him half a mile from home so that he could manage fish and chips before dinner!
