Was just curious if anything had come re what had/has happened to Kez?

I'm dying to know.

It’s none of our business. This has been spoken about before.

Nothing is ever anyone’s business. But when public figures and celebrities hit the news like this, it is only natural for people to ask…and rightfully so IMO. People like this are role models to some - if something changes that, we deserve to know.

It’s been a thread on here already. That was locked and this one will be I expect. I’m with @golders we do not have a right to know, I cannot see why the public need to know everything about everything.
One of the two has vanished from social media so you can guess it’s a serious matter.
Unless you are personally involved with it it’s not in the public domain and nor should it be.
I hope this thread gets locked as well.

If it means that much to you, Why don’t you drive down to Sussex and demand to know what’s happened. Then share it with anyone who will listen- I’m sure there will be many.
I think this should be locked as no good will come if this discussion
-
If the chap is based in pakistan that might be difficult …

My only point was - why are you so quick to be critical of the first two posters? Public figures and social media celebrities are held to a different standard. Unless you know the guy personally and are trying to protect him for some reason (in which case I understand your motivation), what is behind this attempt to put down a fairly normal question? If this was a case of a personal tragedy, then yes we all need to be respectful of the individual. But if it’s a matter of crime, then I’m afraid a social media celebrity doesn’t get to be protected with as much fervour as you demonstrated.
But yes, let’s lock this down.

Nah let’s keep it open and have an open discussion!it’s like a morgue in here at the moment. I dislike trial by media but can understand peoples morbid curiosity.
I just felt for Dan Jadeviks, and I’m really pleased for him that’s he’s made a comeback. Comes across really well does Dan, and to be honest I’d consider myself a fan of his.
-
Dan is good but regardless of whatever has happened other chap looked good when batting in nets
I don’t think his runs and scored in league were as good which was surprising
It’s a shame they didn’t do more videos of the bats they had , recently I think they were using some stunners

The other guy came across as a bit of a show pony

On all of that, we fully agree :)

Seemed to work well together with Kez seemingly the better player and Dan the more clubbie loves cricket kind of chap. But it must be something pretty big to totally leave social media and a fast growing platform. No idea if he is even still

I feel almost proud of Dan for how he has bounced back though. Seems like a good guy. Maybe a new duo will form at some point.

That’s exactly why it worked. They had that down to earth feel of a couple of blokes from any cricket club and people could relate to that

Same. Great to see the lad come back and continue doing what he loves
-
Paul Cole (formerly of ItsJustCricket) and Dan would make a great duo.
Additionally i just want to commend a fantastic era of cricket influencers or social media cricketers.
Clubcricketbadger, thecricketkid, mysidecricket, canyoucricket and many others. Kudos to you all!

The cricketkid is going to go so, so far, surely?

Have got to know Dan a bit through same Sunday cricket team and he is a genuine lovely guy. Really pleased working out for him.

Watch his latest Ourcricket video on keeping on YouTube and put subtitles on at 3:46 for a very interesting interpretation by the software of what's being said. Also an excellent video for keepers.

Just walked into Astwood Bank CC I. Worcestershire do some filming today.

Seen plenty with his talent get through age group but becomes a different level with you get to minor counties, county 2nd teams etc but wish him all the best and he certainly has some talent and good work ethic from his social content
-
Think they were both crap, poor content and always came across too forced and fake.
-
I thought their video with Pakistani pro was good

Enjoyed making that video with Dan. A very genuine individual.

Done a number of sessions with Jackson. Has worked immensely hard and has reaped the rewards.
-
My only concern with Dan is actually the fact he is so decent and genuine. Working in the public eye is hard work and at the end of the day the media is a cut throat industry. I wish him well like a lot of people do.

I've been sending my 13y wicket keeper son videos of his for years, saying look what you have to be doing to get good, and try get him drilling more consistently at home.
Last week my son's U13 interleague team played against his U12 CAG team. Pleased to report Ollie's team won, with Ollie taking a nick and dismissing the cricketkid for a duck.
Ollie conceded 1 bye, took 2 catches and a run out whilst scoring 28
Cricket kid conceded 4 byes, no victims and was out for a duck.
Now Ollie won't listen to a word I say :D :D :D :D
Note- whilst all reported facts are correct, this post is also firmly tongue in cheek.
Seriously though, it was very interesting to watch him. He was very "flashy", lots of bouncing, diving and rolling- I can understand how he's caught the eye. Whether he keeps his interest/work ethic, only time will tell- but he seems to have positioned himself very well to get access to the highest levels of coaching and influence if he does.

His dad seems to have positioned Jackson very well you mean.
Get the stuff about being flashy, does look very very showy. No doubting his ability, but he could be even better. I'm sure he'll go far if he keeps going though

Is Wecricket now OurCricket ?
