Hi Guys,
Just trying to collect some data on the subs and match fee being collected by clubs across the UK. Just to benchmark my club's fee structure
Seniors subs and match fee
Juniors subs and match fee
-
Season fees are currently being discussed at our club, match/teas fee is about £7
And usually do the £3 weekly fines which equates to a rather large pot for the end of season lash up

so everyone irrespective of their age group pays £7 or juniors pay less?
-
Ours is £3 per game for under-18s and £5 a game for adults. £20 signing on fee for u-18 and £55 for adults.
This is my least season of paying junior rates :(

Hi Guys,
Just trying to collect some data on the subs and match fee being collected by clubs across the UK. Just to benchmark my club's fee structure
Last season:
Seniors annual subs £40 and match fee £6 - Teas £2
Juniors/Student subs £20 (extra siblings get reduced fee) and match fee £3 in an adult game & £1 in a junior game
-
so everyone irrespective of their age group pays £7 or juniors pay less?
sorry mate, I wasn't clear. I am talking for adults here, not too sure about the subs prices for the colts, but I imagine they will be around the £3 mark. Certainly 50% cheaper than ours anyway.
And just confirmed that our annual sign up fee is £60 if paid before the start of the season, extra tenner if after.
-
Not sure of the meaning of subs, but I'm guessing money to subsidise travel? We don't pay any at our club, but the match fees are higher as a result..
Adult: £10
Junior: £6
Though if it's a home game we get a Chinese for tea, so it's well worth it :) Try to eat quite a lot to make up for the match fee haha :D
-
mens - 20 pound at the start of the season then 5 a game 3.50 for students :D
kids is 60 for the season
-
Annual subs: £30 seniors, £20 students and U21, £5 Junior
Match fees: £5 senior, £2 student/U21
-
subs were
senior £40
junior who plays senior cricket/student £25
junior who only plays junior £10 no match fee
match fees senior was £6
junior who plays senior cricket/student was £3
-
Here's my memories:-
Top Club/Level ie. Radlett - 2 pitches, premier league facilites etc subs region of £150 + tenner a game
High Level Club ie. Marlow privte ground etc- subs £100 ish + £8 a game
Village club - ie. Bramhope - subs £0 + £8 a game
Current Club Headingley CC - subs £45 (incl. shirt/cap/clothing) + £5 a game
Rule of thumb, better facilities and cricket = more money. Compare to surrounding clubs as essentially they are your competition in terms of fees and facilities.
-
Oh now get the meaning of Subs...colts £35 at my colt club, £60 at my adult club, no u17 team with them though :( Don't think there are subs for adults, hence higher prices as above.
-
Annual subs are £120
Match Fees are £10 per game. We try and look after students and they get subs for about £80, and match fees of £8
-
I will give two versions.
First one was a Top division team I played for numerous seasons- Guildford CC
Sub £95 Adults, £50 Colts/Students
Match fee - £7 Adults £5 Students £3 Colts
Village Level - Badshot Lea
Sub £45 , Students - £25
Match Fee £10 on Saturdays & Students £5 , £5 on Sundays for all
No Colts rates, As no colts in the team.
-
Sorry forgot to mention - please include your club names and town/city
thank you

Highgate CC, London

Some of you lot pay extortionate prices!
For students + U18s, my club is £3.50, for adults £6.50 both days, £2 midweek.
£20 subs for young'uns, £40 for adults.
Owmby CC, Lincolnshire.
-
Bloody Hell! Some clubs here charge loads for match fees :O
At Minehead CC we are lucky we have decent sponsorship that covers shirts, travel, match balls etc.
Adults pay £35 at the start of the season and £5 a game from then on, and juniors pay just £10 at the start of the season and £2.50 a game. Our junior academy currently has bucket loads of money through sponsorship at the moment so we're really lucky :)

I thought mine was expensive! Feel better now about coughing up...and I'm in charge of bringing sponsorship into the club.

I pay £200 for family membership to the Bank of England Sports Club (it is a very big facility with gym, pool, tennis, football, rugby, hockey ++++)
then £30 to the bank cricket section and £10 a game - some of which is drinking money. I consider that to be very reasonable.
Colts pay £5 match fees, the £30 but don't pay the membership fee (their parents do..!)

That club is Old Haberdashers in Borehamwood, Herts. The Old Boys Association owns the ground, and our rent is around £4000 per year. When you factor in groundsman costs, teas etc £120 subs/£10 match fees isn't too bad. Nets are £3 per person
I also play for a Sunday team, Maccabi Association London. We introduced subs last year to cover our league fees etc.
For MAL, subs are £30, with match fees of £10 for your first 3 games and £5 thereafter. Nets are £5 per person.

That's more than reasonable though Mr Buzz, because it's a gym, which I assume you get full use of, and it's for Mrs Buzz and the little Buzzlets as well I assume? All in all, that works out pretty well for you!
JNC86 - By the looks of things, we get off fairly cheap!

Last season:
Seniors annual subs £40 and match fee £6 - Teas £2
Juniors/Student subs £20 (extra siblings get reduced fee) and match fee £3 in an adult game & £1 in a junior game

god damn that all sound dear our nets are free for use at any time by paid mebers but our groundman is a volunteer but a damn good one who knows his stuff and teas are done by the wifes who donate their time foc but are paid for the food plus we get sponsorship from local buisnesses and do fund raising events

We're a small club - we only have 2 sides. I should imagine that the bigger the club the more the cost base is distributed. Because we don't have nets at our ground we use the nets at Haberdashers School in Elstree, which we have to pay for. Likewise, as my Sunday side doesn't own it's own facilities, we have to pay for external nets etc, and rent a ground.

Season fees £40 (£20 student) and then £10 (£6 student) a match.
As we are a country club you also have a membership fee for that which is roughly £160 a year (£40 student). Sounds a lot but you get access to other club facilities and 10% discount at the bar
