Bloody Hell! Some clubs here charge loads for match fees :O

At Minehead CC we are lucky we have decent sponsorship that covers shirts, travel, match balls etc.

Adults pay £35 at the start of the season and £5 a game from then on, and juniors pay just £10 at the start of the season and £2.50 a game. Our junior academy currently has bucket loads of money through sponsorship at the moment so we're really lucky :)

I thought mine was expensive! Feel better now about coughing up...and I'm in charge of bringing sponsorship into the club.

I pay £200 for family membership to the Bank of England Sports Club (it is a very big facility with gym, pool, tennis, football, rugby, hockey ++++)
then £30 to the bank cricket section and £10 a game - some of which is drinking money. I consider that to be very reasonable.

Colts pay £5 match fees, the £30 but don't pay the membership fee (their parents do..!)

Annual subs are £120
Match Fees are £10 per game.  We try and look after students and they get subs for about £80, and match fees of £8

That club is Old Haberdashers in Borehamwood, Herts.  The Old Boys Association owns the ground, and our rent is around £4000 per year.  When you factor in groundsman costs, teas etc £120 subs/£10 match fees isn't too bad.  Nets are £3 per person

I also play for a Sunday team, Maccabi Association London.  We introduced subs last year to cover our league fees etc.

For MAL, subs are £30, with match fees of £10 for your first 3 games and £5 thereafter.  Nets are £5 per person.

That's more than reasonable though Mr Buzz, because it's a gym, which I assume you get full use of, and it's for Mrs Buzz and the little Buzzlets as well I assume? All in all, that works out pretty well for you!

JNC86 - By the looks of things, we get off fairly cheap!

We're a small club - we only have 2 sides.  I should imagine that the bigger the club the more the cost base is distributed.  Because we don't have nets at our ground we use the nets at Haberdashers School in Elstree, which we have to pay for.  Likewise, as my Sunday side doesn't own it's own facilities, we have to pay for external nets etc, and rent a ground.

Season fees £40 (£20 student) and then £10 (£6 student) a match.

As we are a country club you also have a membership fee for that which is roughly £160 a year (£40 student). Sounds a lot but you get access to other club facilities and 10% discount at the bar
