Lou is playing for Sussex, when his Uk passport and clearance comes through.

Ye i knew there was a reason why he wasnt playing for nantwich this year, so was suprised when espocrespo said he was playing for his club. cause he would of played for nantwich this year again if sussex didnt sigh him

I think Lancs League has been frozen at £4 per game although we have around 200 members who pay around £40 a year and get free entry to home games.

Jon-Jon's brother Kelly was also supposed to be playing in the league but had to pull out due to injury.

Is Michael Smith at Middleton the south australian? He played for us for half a season in 2003 but picked an injury up. Good player, nice lad too.

I think it's mad being charged to watch club cricket! Takes away half the enjoyment if you ask me!

Some club sides do play a very high standard and they often do seek the services of someone who is of international standard or ex international. For some teams to ermmm how can i say koff koff pay koff koff for the contracted player, additional funding may be needed to koff koff pay koff koff for their services.
i for one, would not pay to watch club cricket, but would if it was someone like Brett Lee bowling to some bunnies or Sachin batting against a decent bowling attack.

We as a club have had a couple of international players, but managed  ;) to keep the cost of these down.

In our league's, you not find a club who asks for paying to watch.
