Some club sides do play a very high standard and they often do seek the services of someone who is of international standard or ex international. i for one, would not pay to watch club cricket, but would if it was someone like Brett Lee bowling to some bunnies or Sachin batting against a decent bowling attack.
We as a club have had a couple of international players, but managed
to keep the cost of these down.
In our league's, you not find a club who asks for paying to watch.
