I've got the Puma Tricks and I haven't had any trouble with them at all.

Puma iradiums which were like an old pair of slippers from day one and replaced a pair of kooks that finished their life by the tops detaching from the soles mid game 3 mins and a fair amount of tape and I finished the game ( and the Sunday friendly that week lol!)

Another strong advocacy for the Nike Air Zoom Openers (mine are last year's). I had cycled through various models of Adidas and Asics before that but I would definitely buy Nikes again when this pair wears down. Fantastic for both comfort and support.

Have to say Nike as well! Had some Puma Iridiums that were great but didn't last too long and the lining fell apart fairly quickly, recently bought some Nike spikes from a forum member and they are much, much better made and having worn them last week as comfortable a pair of shoes as I have ever worn! Hate the new orange ones though....too bling for me...

I'm tempted by this spiking service to normal trainers

Had some readers and GM's and they've all lasted about a season. The rubbers in particular due to the use they get in and outdoors, but I also prefer to play in them as long as it's not really wet. Had a pair of asics bowling boots for 5 years and they show now signs of wear plus they are comfortable. I use to get shin/Achilles problems but the asics seem to have sorted it. Getting some rubber asics for my birthday, which I'm hoping will be equally sturdy!.

Asics seem to be the best boot on the market imho in terms of comfort and durability. Cheap boots are a false economy on your wallet and feet!

I have had Puma signatures, Adidas 22yrds, Asics 452* and this year I have the advance 3's. None have caused me any issues and the advance 3's are the comfiest and lightest I have had yet out of all of them.
