Hit the nail on the head there Johnny.
You'll get a cracking bat either way, and if you want a bat to your very own specs it will just essentially be the difference in the cleft that is the main difference.
H4L is £325 for your whole kit, and the softs are nice. I have the gloves and love them, not used the pads but I've heard good things about them. Bats are crackers.
Again, with Redback, you hardly ever go wrong, and the softs are nice, though some have been sold on due to people not liking the design. You will get a fantastic bat once again.
Depends on the choice of stickers, I'd say H4L are more 'funky' and Redback more subtle and traditional.
Perhaps ask for a sponsorship discount from both companies and see what they say...what standard do you play mate? (Instead of the good player/bat debate...

)
Also, if you're not concerned about looks of the bat, A H4L devil could be the way to go - uknsaunders has one, I used to have one, and mine was a good bat, as I think is Nick's.
