No run needed there, 1st ball after tea. Completely Ponting's fault.

True.

I guess Pointing is still under pressure, you don't see Ponting doing that much to be honest.

If he scores a century here (for which I am hoping really) then his body language will be completely different.

I would say Usman just got unlucky, he was going well and was pretty much set for a big knock I'd say.

Pressure still on him, so hoepfully he goes on and continues with his good form.

Khawaja's scores have been 37, 26, 21, 13, 12, 65 and 38. So he has gotten a start in every game, but he just jasn't been able to go on with it, today looked like he was gearing for a big one, but wasn't to be. His time will come though.

Clarke goes to leave, but can't get his bat out of the way in time and hits the edge and he chops on off Bracewell. Clarke looks livid with himself and is walking off. Wait, what's this? Umpires checking to see if it's a no ball..... It is a no ball and Clarke makes his way back to the middle.

Unlucky Bracewell, just like Beer in the ashes last year.

Indeed, he is not able to capitalize on those scores, I would say he is a bit like Azhar Ali. In start Azhar too got starts and got fifties but was not able to convert into 100 until recent Sri Lanka series.

Obviously Khawaja is much more classy than Azhar without a doubt.

Lucky Clarke :)

This umpire Asad Rauf has improved by miles, he was useless in beginning, he has got a lot better now.

Whoever umpires in Australian soil test matches is indeed one of the best umpires (Obviously Simon can't umpire in Aussie series)

True, normally he just runs himself out. More than anyone else to play the game!

That no ball reversal is a joke. Either you give it out or no ball.

If umpires can't properly make a decision when someone is clean bowled, they have no place in the game.

I agree, but apart from that decision, Rauf looked very good umpire.

I have been seeing him as an umpire since 2005 when he made test debut

Reminds me of a young lad who came into the England side in teh late 80s/early 90s with a big rep - MArk Ramprakash....

Ramprakash didn't play across/around his front pad as much as Khawaja...
