interesting to see the other parties that have been selected. performance squad has a few new faces in and the hong kong sixes squads a little left field! no place for some of the better performers this year!

sixes squad is always left field - they tend to reward solid county pros with this one, and need guys who can serviceably bat and bowl.  It is what it is, to borrow a Cowellism.

true by why is the likes of trego missing from either? hes the MVP for the season and has performed pretty well in all aspects but not included. maybe its due to his t20 travelling, i dont know but you would imagine someone who has bowled and batted well ( esp smashing it out the park and quickly) would feature somewhere.

i think there are a few who deserve a go but not there

fair point RE Trego, though I wonder whether its better for him to be off making money on the T20 circuit (and he has been before).

Plenty of players have missed out who deserved to go - three Yorkshire lads in Lyth, Gale and Ashraf were unlucky in my opinion!
