Yes mate, keepers do wear a box and if you don't, you're an idiot.
Simmy has a thing about wearing a lid when standing up, but I'm sure even he would protect the old man and his mates. I've taken a hit there when standing up and it saved me some serious aggro

You know that people are getting really impatient for the season to start when a thread about box setup makes it to a 3rd page!

I just wear pants and shock doctor.
But I like the idea of these compression pants, Which ones are the better ones for an average cricketer like myself?

I got this mate, they have a specific pouch for the box. I believe they are the choice for MMA fighters. Might be pricey but worth the money in my book, and I have used the shorts for 2 seasons and still in good condition

Slightly off topic, but how often do you get hit in the knackers? Once bitten twice shy though

have been using slazenger cheapo shorts with an old box but have recently been getting better gear all round (since logging onto this site to be fair, its been an eye opening but expensive experience!). Was looking at either the aero compression shorts and box or have recently heard about the 010 shorts, anyone have any idea which is best of the 2 and which box is best to use with the 010's?

I use the Aero compression shorts with a slaz box. I didn't get on with the Aero box.
The shorts are one of the best compression shorts around in my opinion, and I also own Nike Pro and Canterbury versions of.

I have just invested in the Under Armour compression shorts, I'll be giving them a run out on friday when I have a net.

Aero shorts and box, find them very comfy for batting in.
Need to find a different shape box for keeping, find crouching pushes/rubs the top of the box against err ones pubic area which gets quite uncomfortable after a while.
