I think the players sifts on show in the ashes are far nicer than any other of the kooka softs

It's a great showcase for gear.  Do like the Kahuna softs though, always have.

New Midas softs look class.  But then again they're basically players

Kookaburra are finally starting to get it right! Their new gear actually excites me for once!

Both the Midas and the Viper look astounding and they're finally getting the colours right.

I was a fan if the ricochet though...

Do we think Kookaburra will ever ditch the Kahuna?

I just bought a Firebird 1000 and Viper 1200. Firebird is 2.7, 40mm edges and a massive bat. Not a huge a mount of concaving. The Viper has smaller edges and at 2.9 picks up superbly. There is also a lot more concaving on the viper.

Sorry about the quality. Not the best pics. The Kooks, SG, SF and V100 have just arrived.
I have had the Laver for a while and it has just been sitting there not getting used. It was a replacement for one I bought but was not happy with. I have only just given it a couple of serious net sessions this week and it is sensational. Impressed. It might replace the Thruxton as my match bat this season.

I plan on selling all of those new bats down at my club. As good as the firebird feels I can't justify using it. Especially as I have rogue, recoil and kahuna players models which haven't even had a run yet,

It feels great. Excellent pickup. I might end up using this one although it will be at the back of a long queue.
