Kookaburra Firebird?
« on: May 22, 2013, 05:31:31 PM »

Being used by Katich in tonight's YB40 game on SS1

Orange and Black colours; definitely not the red/black stickers shown on earlier threads...

Blade and rogue weren't even in the 2013 range so how can firebird and viper be replacing them?

Its more along the lines of

Midas as a new possible flagship bat
firebird (only lower quality bats ive found online) as a budget bat
and
bubble replacing recoil and viper replacing ricochet (lightweight for lightweight)

These aren't replacing UK 2013 models (at least, not yet). They're Aus models.

I've heard they are going to split their markets, in the way Gray Nics do.

I've also heard the Bubble will be coming to the UK, which means the Ricochet will either be gone or will need a drastic redesign, which would be an odd move as its the best seller this year, the first time the kahuna has not been the best seller since it was introduced.

Think what the chap commenting on this earlier was saying is that the Rogue and Blade were bats in 12/13 for the Australian summer.  So next season will be the first without them.

Is there a definitive list of profiles (high to low etc) and what is replacing what?
