law 6 appendix e states...

Toe and side inserts – The
wood used must not be more
than 0.3 in/0.89 cm in
thickness.
The toe insert shall not extend
from the toe more than 2.5
in/6.35 cm up the blade at any
point.
Neither side insert may extend
from the edge more than 1
in/2.54cm across the blade at
any point.

separately, law 6 says...
minimal glue is to be used.

TAS inserts fit within the dimensions in Law 6 Appendix E.
No more glue is used to fit TAS inserts than is used to fit the handle to the blade.

Probably because it's illegal at pro level... As it's a Type B bat as stated previously

The thing is , I'd guess roughly 99.9% of viewers wouldn't even notice this.

Slazenger TAS Test bat is £77 on sports direct, says it has an RRP of £225 so would be a good deal if people wanted to try one.
