If conquering/colonising 3/4 of the globe isn't good for a strong cricket team then what was it good for?

This I totally agree with. As the strongrst and biggest empire in history,  why shouldn't we pick from wherever we want!

KP left due to a racist selection policy nothing else. Who here would not do the same if they were left out for a player of different skin colour or ethnic origin despite being a far better player? Justin Ontong I believe was one player picked ahead of KP under SAs racist quota system and what a fine international player he turned out to be

Nothing beats the WI so Both eng and aus suck in comparrison.. Just a shame they are crap at cricket now

Although, it still disturbs me that aus play on asto wickets!!! That's just not right

You should see the amount of cricket pitches over there though, there are thousands compared to over here. When riding on the bus or train I was amazed at how many pitches we would pass. I doubt they have enough groundsmen to be able to keep up with preparing grass wickets every week
