With the Lavers gaining weight, can this be helped by waxing the bat all over as soon as you get it? Surely wax helps keep the moisture out as must as it does stop letting it in?

Laver contacted me regarding the 'weight gain' issue.  I purchased a Private Bin custom bat six weeks ago and its being delivered on Tuesday 5th Aug.  In a nutshell i was told my bat was taking so long to produce because they needed to take a little more moist out of the cleft they had chosen. He also said that they bat won't gain weight because of the 'special waxing' they put on it (highly likely not special at all, just probably similar to Salix Bat Wax).  He also said that if the bat is kept indoors and out of a dampish environment then it won't gain weight.  Well, all remains to be seen.

Regards Customs, I have just received a bill from Parcelforce for £26.29 which i have had to pay to get the parcel released.  Well there ya go.

C-10 handle.  Requested  super light pick-up, no concaving, and a weight of around 2.5lb-2.6lb.  So, we shall see what arrives.  No pics from L&W before they posted it, so its a bit of a mystery parcel.
