From what i understand, Newbery will often resrve the lightest clefts to be used in conjunction with the C6+ handles, so that they can get some big shapes at light weights!
The C6+ handle is not legal to produce nowadays, however if you have one or have recently purchased one then you are allowed to use it for it's natural life. Having said that, im not sure which aspects of the law concern village cricketers and the pro's with regards to composition of the bat.
People have generally agreed that the C6+ will feel slightly different to a normal cane handle, im guessing that it might also be slightly stiffer than a cane handle.
