Good selection there, not a fan of the CG Spartan but the Dhoni one looks a steal for £90, those V12's seem good value as I'm sure the cheapest I've seen one of those is £200.

Unfortunately every SD store seems to differ on the size of their cricket sections and some seem to get better or worse (Leeds used to be pretty decent but is very hit and miss now).  Was in London at the weekend and went to Lilywhites which is now Sports Direct I believe and they had the biggest and best cricket section I've seen in one of their stores up on the 5th Floor.  There were some pretty decent sticks if you rummaged far enough.

Also try online, I picked up a lovely GN Matrix from their website for £75 (Topic is in the Gray Nics thread).

I know you can try your luck online, but you guys who find even half decent bats in store are spoilt!
I live near 3 Sports Direct stores and the cricket range they stock ranges from sparse to non-existent, one had three bats, one had a few knitted jumpers and some bat breakers and the other no cricket stuff at all! Also, I've realised how pikeyish an area I must live in to have 3 Sports Directs within half an hour of my house lol  :-[

The two Spartan models were very similar, both had square toes, duck bills and large bulging sweetspots with little concaving. None picked up horribly and were pretty decent for Sports Direct.

Did you see any of the Spartan softs in there as only saw the lower graded ones recently so not sure on quality etc.. Must say I'm tempted by that Dhoni one  :)
