We only took 5 wickets today.
Quite a few Chase bats on display (including one that broke!)

There was also a @fatbats, a Newbery Kudos and someone used M&H International softs (rather grim in my opinion) and an older M&H bat that made a nice noise.

A couple of their blokes had newbery. One old guy had a very retro gray nics probably from the 80s

Saw a phantom can't remember it's proper name but it was the black sticker edition that seemed to go rather nicely. The guy seemed like a bit of a bat lover as he also had a custom made Gray nics in his bag and affinity softs

Unsurprisingly as we played the club he's associated with and his nephew a whole host of Charlie French bats - none of the batsmen really got going so difficult to judge the performance. 3 really nice salixs on display all really grainy and pinged lovely off the bat

Played against Compton House, they're near yeovil so always good to see some @Bulldog Cricket bats on display. They made 230 odd for 9.
My first 7 overs went for 7 runs, nearly had 4 maidens on the trot but I bowled a wide! No wickets tho...
Came back to finish the innings off got pumped for a biggun then got the lad out bowled next ball.
Another came in and gave it a biff before getting him LBW, then I had an absolute pie dropped off my bowling last ball of their innings. Finished with 9 overs 2-26
Took 3 catches and some good diving saves.

Chipped in with 24 but we fell 40 short.

Opposition opener with an Ayrtek and a bespoke B3 on Saturday, got to be a good chance he was a forum member! Unfortunately for him he got ran out without facing ha.

Sunday played against a side who clearly have some kind of arrangement with D&P, some nice looking bats in use.

Some nice high end Salix bats plus B3's and a Heritage Typhoon in action in yesterday's game.

Played a guy using a nice Select bat yesterday, three Chase FLC (a family affair) and a Colt with a 31 grain all heartwood Mogul Original. And a destickered Ayrtek that looked lovely but didn't give value for shots (could have been the batsman)

Played yesterday and opposition had 3 lovely Stac bats. Their skipper scored a 50 with a massive edged one. Great to see they back up and running as some of the best bats I've owned. Quite tempted!
