Wake up this morning and Aussies 120 for 0.
Khawaja and Warner both 50s and only 18 overs gone chasing 281.

Come back from dinner and there 200 for 6!! Only need 82 of 92 balls but can't hey keep there wickets?

Looking at highlights and listening to commentary. Seems maxwell batted without a brain again.
3 quick wickets Warner at the other end on 70 odd and instead of loving it about he's tried to pull a full pitched ball and dragged on.

Is 5 to high for maxwell??

Maxwell, for me, is a 1 in 10 man. If he had any sort of consistency hed be such a player. This "big show" name tag really doesnt help him out.

He played at my local club last season, scored 5 against a junior team and from all reports is more bothered about drinking than he is cricket.

The Duke John Wayne Hastings and Mitchell Marsh guided Australia home to a comfortable victory. Record partnership to boot. Marsh looks the goods in ODI cricket

Yes, he looks more than solid now. Still a bit flat footed when he bats sometimes, but he seems to have avoided the dreaded 'that's the way I play' approach

I think Marsh is slowly getting more assured with the bat in ODI cricket. He's still a work in progress at Test level

New Zealand sailing towards 300 plus and then had a massive collapse to post a poor 241.

Australia still look in control. But maxwell does his best again to put a spanner in the works.

Duck off 2 balls. Pushing far to hard with that defensive shot well outside off.

Aus need 133 of 26 overs with 6 wickets left. Bailey and marsh at the crease

Controversy over the Mitchell marsh delivery!!

He was out, but umpires only referred it after the big screen showed a reply. Not sure nz really appealed either?

With wade gone, should be nz's game. Fitting way to send McCullum off

Good start by NZ but failed to keep up Baz's momentum. Easily should have been a 280+ target but Aus did very well to stop NZ below 250. Good start by Khawaja but no one else looked to put up a stand. Fighting innings from Marsh, once he was out the end was inevitable.

Fitting send off for Baz. Sad to see McCullum walking off his team for the last time in an one-day game ...  :(

Next two test matches i am recording them to see Baz for one last time in whites ...

I remember last year Brendon McCullum commenting on the Ben stokes obstructing the field decision, questioning Steve Smith captaincy
and sportsmanship and how he would never do something like that today. Well Brendon you had your chance and you FAILED!
How the high and mighty fall in the space of a delivery. He questioned Smith's youth and inexperience as captain for his decision not to
withdraw the appeal. So... Brendon... Whats your excuse ?

Brendon MCcullum: "By not withdrawing the appeal, Smith showed his immaturity. He may live to regret it."
"Don't get me wrong: winning is important. But the longer you play this game the more you realize that some things
                              are too valuable to spoil."
"Smith missed chance to make statement about how his side could play"  Brendon you had a chance to show how you
believe the game should be played even if it meant you may not go out on a winning note, something the cricketing world would have held
you in the highest of regard for and a much better legacy than going out a winner.

Sorry, have I missed something when I watched it live? It was clearly out, nothing to do with sportsmanship.

Henry appealed. The umpires messed up and didn't take it seriously when they should of done. It should of reviewed by the 3rd umpire in the first place. The crowd went berserk when it came up on the TV and the umps did what they should of done in the first place. McCullum has every right to point out the batsman was actually out. It's the umpires who make the final decision. Why should McCullum call somebody back who was clearly out? His team didn't Mankad him or throw the ball at the player. They simply got him out via the toe on the full, caught. Had the umps reviewed it straight away then none of this would of blown up.

Henry appealed and the umpires made the mistake by not checking. Nothing to do with McCullum. Right decision made at the endd of the day. As with the last eng vs SA ODI the umpires are showing their incompetency.

I thought smith showed his lack of class at the presentation. The crowd rightfully booed him

Agree with you about Smith.
When you appeal, you appeal to the umpire not to your wicket keeper and if that was an appeal
then we need not bother appealing anymore

He appealed, even if it was half hearted, he still appealed.

I don't think the veracity of the appeal should depend on the fielders' decibel count
