But the game isn't being played in England so they maybe pushing the SS brand via the labels due to it not being enforced.

OK. I was just suggesting the main target market might be the UK? Maybe that's a simplistic way of looking at it?

They don't look right without the stamps.
I wonder is SS have anything in the pipeline that will sit higher up the edges. It would have to be smaller than their current stamps so may not have the same impact as the big ones in the middle of the hitting area

Hasn't there been an ICC directive re. markings on bat edges?

Yes, which is why I said higher up the edges,  like Gray Nicolls have done...

Think that's only in Europe due to Stuart Srridge but I'm sure someone will correct me.

i thought that but Bravo in the big bash has Ton stickers so maybe it applies to Aus as well

Who is Moeen's manager? Does he share the same manager as Ravi Bopara?
Regarding the bats - think Bopara used to sticker up his bat a bit shoddily too, that said more than happy paying to watch Ali and Bopara bat.

I think he does, if so then its Aces Middle East.

Same manager for Shahid Afridi and few other Pakistani players.

Is this an old picture, or is Moeen back with Kookaburra?

More than likely, looking closer the bat pictured appears to be an SS anyway  ;)

Noticed this today, weird that he's using SS bats in England. Batted very nicely though.

he has been using SS kit in the nets the last couple of weeks. although on a couple of occasions he has also had a kookaburra bat with him, mainly when practicing against the short ball.

not sure why but if i get chance i will ask him
