[Bat and Ball Cricket]

Brisbane Grade cricket has been able to use Gabba or Duke as an option for a while now. Norths used to use them but has gone back to Kooks. I played against Uni a few weeks ago who used a Dukes ball: rock hard and did not swing or seam much either. Flew out of the middle though...

The Duke was that significantly different in that game mate that...... I didn't even know it was a Duke until you told me after our innings.....

So much for seaming and swinging at right angles!

Must just be the super high grade balls that do that  . It couldn't possibly be the quality of players in our grade....

Every single duke I've come across has felt terrible off the bat and vibrated every bat I owned.

Have used the gabba ball's too which are good for all of 5 overs before the seam goes to sh*t and it goes soft.

We either get Kook club or the Kook regulation rejects now. The rejects are nice as they often have such small defects causing them to be downgraded from the very top model.
