Dukes vs Kookaburra unfair advantage

In an attempt to improve the Aussies recent poor performances against the Poms. CA have directed that 4 rounds and the final will be played using the Duke ball,

Interestingly our Grade comp. here have  now included the option for clubs to use the dukes. It's been funny watching the clubs in a mad panic scouting stock of the dukes as clearly the clubs which got in early have an unfair advantage over the dukeless clubs, as those nuts here are swinging around corners and late in the innings too.
The recent addition of the duke has just brought it to my attention that we had options, I assume we were only allowed to used kooks as that all that I have ever seen used in our grade however now reading our local laws we are have always had the option of using kooks, gabba or platypus and now dukes.
As I think about seems odd that we can compete in a game with teams using different balls.
How about your comp. ?

All comps ive played in ( sydney grade , sydney shires , s.m.c.a  winter comp ) have allowed using platypus balls for ages . I always thought clubs were mad for sticking with a Kookaburra,  even more so now that Dukes are allowed.  Kookaburras are just utter filth i.m.o.

Brisbane Grade cricket has been able to use Gabba or Duke as an option for a while now. Norths used to use them but has gone back to Kooks. I played against Uni a few weeks ago who used a Dukes ball: rock hard and did not swing or seam much either. Flew out of the middle though...

Spartan super ball

swing seams and spins more unless it detects a Spartan bat then it will only go straight and home in on the middle every time

You'll be surprised by who it is, if my hunch is correct.

They're a huge name in cricket, but don't always scream and shout like some of the other big players.

If they're Hunting for a new brand. I wasn't happy with their league balls. I was there having a quick tour given by Tony and I picked a few out of a box. I had to hand pick them as some weren't actually round.

They turned out to be Rock hard.

I won't disclose the new source but Tiflex was mentioned earlier I do know Bradbury has got  Tiflex into Perth in quite a big way
