Thanks everyone for the welcome. Sometimes we use a little bit of glue on the handle to make gripping easier, there are adhesives on bathe anti scuff face and tape.

We do make our own bats and we do select grade 1 willow for the top of the range as other grade one willow may have blemishes.

Does anyone here play at a very good level? Talking ECB premier league cricket, minor county XI upwards?

Lots of good players on here, they'll be interested to hear more about your kit. Explain a bit more about the unique design. I'm getting on a bit so I like a light pick-up, what does your batmaker do differently?

I see what you mean about using glue on the handle. Helps the grip to stay in place I suppose?

Ok @KoalaCricket - I've had a drink, so I'll bite.

So you place your completed bats by the radiator to dry the glue on the binding of the handle and the glue on the anti-scuff?

You employ your own batmaker? He makes bats exclusively for you - or do you employ a bat-maker who make bats for lots of people and you buy finished bats from him?

Are you lucky enough to buy just Grade 1 willow, and not have to buy Grade 3 and Grade 4 willow from your supplier at the same time?

By the way, apart from having to field the annoying question from a non Minor counties player like me, I must say I really like your stickers - excellent design work there!
