But we're coming up to the World Cup which is limited overs the last time I checked. He hasn't scored 1 hundred in the last 2 years of one day cricket. Stats speak for themselves.....

True, but the Aussies have dropped their best batsman for the World cup.... so that makes even less sense as Mike Hussey looks like the only Aussie able to be a world beater at the moment. True Shaun Marsh got 100+ against England, but he didnt back it up at all. I dont think a massive change in our team right now would improve it, because of the squad their is not really anyone to replace him.

Yeah I see what you mean mate but he's only there on his name but there's noone at the minute to replace him like you said. I think he should've been dropped a while ago.

Too be honest he did get dropped for the one-dayers last year! Went to play for Surry for a bit and was very poor. But I think the selectors have made the right decision until someone like James Taylor has matured!

One of the most unlucky players is ever has to be S Badrinath. A run scoring machine for Tamil Nadu for the past 5-6 years, often topping the run charts and averages. A F/C average of 62 plus 27 hundreds mean the guy can play a bit.

Badrinath even topped the averages and run charts when his TN side where pretty weak. Only in recent times has he batted with guys like M Vijay and Mukund

Strangely this isn't good enough for the Indian selectors as jokers like Yuvraj and Raina have played more Tests than Badri.

Lacks the playboy style of Yuvi and MUST play the short ball better than Raina....

Gold!

Likewise, sometimes wonder how I would have gone if English, not because it would have been any easier but because I don't like or go too well in the extreme heat, which is a bit of a necessity when you live in Perth!
