Yup, I had a supposed Oz willow blade. The willow was very soft, and slightly darker than normal - but it did go a bit. Can't see it lasting that long though, as it cracked up quite quickly.

Hi, first time poster here from Australia. I deal in the Callen brand bats and found it interesting to come across this post while trying to expand my knowledge about bats in general. A guy i play with bought the Red Label Autograph bat, knocked in for a few hours and started to use it in the nets, he is not the sort of guy who is happy with a six to go just over the boundry , but the bigger the better. He was impressed with the rebound and how well the bat held up. I have used them for about 15 years or so and i can't go past them. Which is why i got around to dealing in them. All things said and done, they compare really well to most "brand" bats that are around the traps.
