It isn't ok when it is causing the problem he is complaining about though... His squatting stance is causing the top hat of his left pad to come forward off his thigh which is causing his top hand to slip in behind the top hat and rub on it instead of leaning on the front of the top hat... His problem isn't in his backlift when his hands are up near his waist it's in his initial stance when his bat is on the ground

Thanks for the replies guys..

Thats the stance I had on Thursdays nets and it wasn't comfy. Im used to batting without pads playing with Tennis balls so my normal stance is the bats rest behind my right foot. My bottom hand is gripping the bat really tight but thats down to habit as i am ambidextrous. I tried again to not squat as much as before and I felt better. I might video it again for you guys.
