I was wondering where you were JP, didn't take too long to show up on your high horse either. If looks are irrelevant, why are pictures mandatory on this forum's for sale section?
Pictures are mandatory so that a buyer can at least tell whether the pupported item is really a cheap bat stickered up as something it isn't, or whether there may be some damage that might not have included in the description if a picture wasn't required. It also means that you have a case for fraud if what you receive isn't what is in the picture.
It's a safety mechanism if you like, rather than a selling tool, although a good looking bat will attract people, especially if you photograph it carefully.
