At the risk of being a little nebulous: how important is the 'pressing' factor to this middle? And if it is the all important or the most important factor, does the 'pro'ness of a bat ultimately come down to the pressing?
Can I suggest before lots of people answer this question - Kaustav - please can you put "pressing" into the search function and read as much as you can from previous posts... you will find your answer there - look especially for posts by members called Norbs, SAFBats or Talisman...

Thanks Buzz but trust me I have read at least some of these and some more in a few other places and hence just wanted to clarify that since pressing is the most important factor in producing the middle, what happens different in a 'pro' bat (as per this thread) that sets it aside from the rest? Is this conscious or does it have something to do with the luck factor as well? I hope I have expressed my question better now. But I promise to keep on reading  :)
