You are correct. You're supposed to wear the chin cup on the chin. There's a picture of me wearing it incorrectly somewhere and I was promptly told off by Tom!

I tried this last night in T20 game, keeping.  I was standing up and going back and couldn't get the strap off (like my Masuri) and un-clipping and clipping was a nightmare with inners etc.  Why is this?

Were you inflating and deflating the liner as you did this? I've found that that works the best. Then you don't have to constantly use the clip.

The main reason that you can't easily do it I suspect is related to the idea that the helmet doesn't move like a masuri when you you get hit with the ball...

I didn't think about this...But a lot of hassle pumping up & down etc.

i took my chin strap off i know i wasnt ment to but i just have the material under my chin

I don't unclip the chin strap when taking it off as it is quite fiddly with inners on to do back up again. I find I can slip it off and on again quite easily and just pump the liner back up a couple of times when I put it back on. On a side note I manged to take one on the jaw on Saturday so definitely need to change the grill settings!!
