Any news on the magnetic chin-straps.
Just watched the video on YouTube which reminded me!

I asked him about this the other day as I would love one! Sadly they weren't put into production

Really surprised they didn't make it into production, surely I can't be the only batsmen who spends ages trying to connect the clips on conventional chin straps?
Would show just how superior and futuristic Ayrtek are compared to other helmet producers..

Maybe if we get enough of us forum-ers to commit to a purchase then Tom could get a limited run done?
I'd happily pay around a fiver for one

We could do but they aren't cheap to implement so would push the price of the helmets up if we introduced them across the range or just use them on the top end Elite/RAW models.
They also need a different strap system making up which isnt a massive issue but needs to be factored into production at the start.

They are superb but they come at quite a significant cost!

this may sound like a simple question - but what do i do about the extra part of the strap that is just dangling when im wearing the helmet. In windy games it seems to be blowing everywhere which can be distracting

You could try wrapping an elastic band around the other strap, which you can then push the flapping bit into - it won't look classy mind!

I tick mine back through the chin cup again to double up so it leaves less to flap about

I had the same problem as I've just got my arytek. I'm still unsure what the best combination is, chin strap on chin, under? Or taken off completely. I found when having on chin it sweats a lot and under chin it didn't feel quite right....

I thought that using the chin cup was part of the design?
Do Ayrtek helmets normally come with fitting instructions?
