At 1st Grade pre season training today, one of the older boys gave me one of his Slazenger's that he has stopped using, but for the life of me I cant remember the name of the bat (Its stickered as a Kahuna). Its the one with the two big chunks of wood on both edges. Can anyone help me out?

nah mate you were right. First came the I blade then the V800 it was the same shape etc just re-branded. Vettori endorsed it.

The original V800 was from about 1996, so well before the iblade.

Dug out my iBlade. It was a fairly cheap one that's had a few nets. Quite surprised by the rebound when I got it out this evening. It felt better than I remembered. Here are a few pictures:

I must be a stout traditionalist, as I find any sort or gouge or perimeter weighting ruins the look of a bat for me, regardless of how it plays. How shallow I must be!
