I'm not worried as to what it looks like as I'm getting a great deal!

where on earth does he take those pictures. If you are paying more than £100 i'd say you are getting ripped off. MSR or Select Cricket can get you a comparable bat at that price or cheaper and there are no fancy words or %'s to confuse the buyer.

I've no knowledge or connection to this James chap, and no preconceptions either, but why on earth would you send a picture of a bat with leaves covering some of the bat? And for that matter taking photos next to a flower pot doesn't seem professional, or even sane. Take them in a workshop on some lovely fire hazard woodshavings...

Hopefully it's a loverrley bat that goes like a train, i'd just be worried about those possibly strategically placed leaves.

Was part of that 'great deal' to become Lekka's agent on the forum lol? I don't personally have a problem with it by the way, nor do I have a problem with James, but it does seem a bit odd.

could be the images but the bat looks a completely different shape to the original ones. again could be the images but the edges on the back of the bat dont look as sharp and you cant tell if its concaved as much as the previous ones. the shoulders also look strange on the bottom picture. I have no idea why you would detract from a bat by having so much rubbish in the background. maybe its because its not a looker. looks arent everything as long as they go but it doesnt look great.

Rowan,
We know the percentile concaving on the bat, but what weight is the bat, what's the RRP and what blade size is it?

some pretty strange stuff posted by james on his facebook

"I'm very concerned about a cricket forum in the uk."

he also says each of the bats he posts have "blessings from angles"

have a look for yourself ... https://www.facebook.com/lekkaww

His Facebook page is the extreme rambling off a madman.

Some off his ideas are bat crap crazy, some are a decent idea. Some bats look awesome, some look attrotious.

If he hired a decent pr guy he may succeed abit more. Nut then Ypres still going, so what do I know.

Whys the grip on this bat look like a tennis rackets?

It's similar to the Aero grip isn't it?

Never heard or seen an aero grip,

Just looking at the bat  some edge looks sharp, rest don't, and the handle seems to protrude after the splice on the back. Looks wrong.

Infact it looks as if this bat was too heavy for what Rowan wanted, and rather than getting another from his maker, James has merely took an angle grinder to the bat to reduce weight!

That's one of the most bizarre photos I have ever seen. I can't see the logic behind it.

Spot the bat round...

Why on earth would you advertise your bats in a garden feature?! :o
