Ah gutted about the original bat mate.

I prefer the first edge stickers. I got mine and was a bit disappointed to get the black outline kookaburra on the edge, but that's not what makes the bat, just an added bonus. I wonder why they originally had the coloured edge sticker and changed?

Anyway bats looks great. I'm itching to use mine next season (Aus) I was too worried to use it at the back end of last season. At least it gives me an off season to get it properly ready!

Where abouts in australia are you based. Me and the grilfriend are looking to emigrate in the next few years.

Yea that would be great, i've been desperate to get back since 2008 when i was out for a year. Only supposed to be home for 6 weeks which has now become 6 years.
Was looking at vic or queensland.
Any advice on an agent to use?

I didn't use an agent. Did the whole process myself. However I reckon my circumstance is different to you. My mother is Australian and I have a British and Australian passport. So it was no bother for me. But we needed to get my partner a de facto visa. The paperwork is a ball ache and took us 6 months to gather everything and get it all certified. I looked into an agent but they cost so much and there is still no guarantee. It's a lot of work but if you get your head around it you can do it yourself. My advice would be to not put off starting the application. You can all ways postpone sending it if you're not ready but it'll take time to get it to that stage.

I presume you'll be looking to get a skilled migrant visa?

Yea thats a little different. my next door neighbour had the same thing. He was over in the uk playing rugby and married an english girl. They went through the same process.  I'd be going for a skilled visa and im on the list that is just slightly short on points so ill need to do the ielts test as well to make up a few extra.
The whole thing is going to cost around 6K and the mrs is pregnant as well so its just finding the time to do it all at the moment.
