Kookaburra Bubble Players Bat
« on: February 04, 2014, 02:16:55 PM »

OK I'd sort of decided that I was going to have a year off cricket this summer with all the work i have to do on the house and my Mrs due in July but ended up buying another bat so I'll just have to play now! ;)
Always been a massive fan of the bubble. Had one in the early 90's when I was in my teens and always fancied getting hold of another.
Love the retro graphics and am really please with the finish and pickup. Thanks to Jake at Vitas for sorting this one out for me and knocking it in.
Hopefully giving it a bit of a test run this sunday in the nets.

Very nice - I thought from the first pic you'd removed the 'Players' logo, as I did with my Legend, but then I saw which bat it was...!  Unique.

Jake tells me its the one from the kookaburra brochure photos so the stickers are a little different.

Had a bit of a nightmare with the bubble and ended up having to swap it. Luckly Jake a vitas sorted me out and sent me this beauty. Unfortunately not got the one off stickers any more but I reckon its an even better piece of willow. Working all weekend so hopefully be spending a few hours knocking it in while im sat in the office.
2ib 10oz, 8 straight grains, love the shape and the stickers. Might just have to buy the gloves now!  ;)

I'm going to have to get some boots first and since we have a game next weekend I should really do it this week. I'll go have a look at a few on monday and order some early in the week. Nike, NB or adidas

Im edging towards the nike boots but i want to see them first. New balance could be a good option plus they are cheaper.
