Welcome Mr GripGrip!

Well I'm not actually the owner/inventor, but I do know him, and on Thursday I'll get to see the product first hand as I'm picking up some bats, and am going to nip in and see him en route. Everything I posted previously was gleaned from just chatting to him, and can also be found by reading the web site (I double checked facts before coming on here).

I'm still not really sure how it works if its not sticky?

I would assume by the way Butch streches it in the video that its made out of some kind of rubber. I would imagine it works by creating friction from the rubber on rubber.

UHU glue would work as well.

Saw this in person today, it works perfectly. It is not like any plumbers tape that i have ever seen. We will be stocking it very soon.

To answer some of the points raised previously. The advantage over glue is that GripGrip will not cause the grip to disintegrate when removing it, or as is sometimes the case, just in general use. I know that sometimes the only reason for removing a grip is because it is worn and you need a new one, but i find old grips incredibly useful, often to use underneath new ones for people who wants 2 or 3 grips on their bats, but also when cut into little rings, a bat grip acts as a good clamp for bat repairs.

It was actually created by a guy at my club so I can stand up for it's quality! At first I didn't see the point as i'd usually just use tape but it is much tidier and doesn't need replacing loads

I can also vouch for it. I have no idea how it works, but it does. Really top stuff and a seriously useful piece of gear!
