Given my colourful description, I suppose it couldn't have been anyone else.

However, I was perhaps a bit harsh describing him as the worst cricketer ever because I have just remembered that I once got a guy to play who (unbeknown to me at the time) was afraid of the ball. That in itself could be a story for the "Village" thread.

No you were spot on. You would be hard pushed to find somebody as bad. I have plenty of stories about him. Where do I start, getting into an argument umpiring when I no balled him for bouncing too many times, or the day @Simmy hit him for 4 sixes in an over after I wound him up to bowl with the 30 yard legside boundary...

One of our team mates scored a century in a T10 game, chasing 147.
He played 32 balls and hit 15 sixes. No I am not kidding. I can post the link to the online scoring card.

We were celebrating and bragging the news to other teams when ...... yes when.... another guy scored 155 not out in a 10 overs game. He faced 42 balls and god knows how many sixes he hit.

Cricket has become a joke. I have NEVER seen a cricket weekend like this in my 40 years of playing cricket.
