If it was good enough for BC Lara then it's good enough for me!

Proofs in the pudding I reckon
I remember the original scoops and some were good others were very much less so
As always with cricket bats, it's a bit of a lottery.
The scoops gonna help pick up, but as far as how much woods taken away from the main hitting zone, I suppose a lot will depend on bat dead weight , cleft size weight etc

If there's still 50mm or so of bat thickness where the scoop is, then it's still gonna hit the ball ok

I like the scoop colour, just not sure I'd buy blind, without having a hit with one first, and tapping up a few in a shop.
I suppose that's where we are lucky guys like vitas have the set up for this and stunning bats to choose from.

If you could get a big thick one around 2.14 I'd be tempted

Yes to Atomic in the UK - was at the trade show.

It has the flattest face I've ever seen - remember talking to our GN rep and he commented that the few he'd seen were pressed harder than the other models. The face is different level flat, certainly on the sample he had!

Have any of our forum sponsors on here received the 2018 softs yet? Just wondered if the pads came up smaller like in previous years?

GN were not happy when I suggested the 2017 Legends were considerably smaller than the 2015 ones in a normal men size.

How do you acquire one of those? Much prefer a brochure than looking online

If you ring GN and ask for a catologue they will post one to you normally the same day.
