my whetstone has arrived so tomorrow will be attempting my first tool sharpening. been watching tons of videos on how its done so fingers crossed it aall works out!

Just a little update guys. The drawknife hasn’t killed me and I’m still here.

Had a few life issues get in the way in that I’ll be leaving my job in February so the last couple of months have been spent trying to find a new one!

Hopefully once that’s sorted I can restart my bat making journey.

IT Support - been looking since November and just getting a bit fed up with it all - on the plus side i might have tons of time to teach myself bat making!!

Well i managed to get a new job!! Starting end of Feb so thats one pressue off my back now.

Hopefully i can get back on the road to trying to figure out how to shape a bat!!
