As good a guess as any. Someone got a Salix to hand to check?
The 3 I have are all RRR

could it be cork, rubber, cork as in the inserts in the handle rather than all rubber, etc?

This thread is awesome, I think you have cracked the code.

If it is right would there actually be any difference in RRR inserts in the handle or Cork Rubber Cork?

It seems such a small difference to be hardly noticeable.  :)

Don't know if it's only about different inserts, but gn predator has thicker handle than kronus, which has 3 cork inserts.

Do you get royalties for shoehorning low grade GN photos into any thread that gains traction?

I'll take it.  I took a punt on a Salix from Ebay  and fortunately it came off.  After twenty years and three Salix bats I bought a Bradbury but  after four seasons that has decided to give up the ghost and developed a nasty crack in the bottom.  In 1996 my first Salix bat, The Royal was my first bat which cost more than £100, it was £125. This Salix is an AJK player's bat under another name.  'Exclusive to Uzi Sports  Exclusive Shape developed with the help of Master Salix bat maker Andrew Kember.'  RRP was £550 the Ebay guy bought it for £450.  He said the middle was too high for him, but I like the middle to be about 18-20 cms up the bat.  Bidding started at £250 but an offer could be made. I offered £275. It is oiled and knocked in well and it doesn't need a scuff.   It weights 2lb 8.
