The sticker on the back reminds me of the Kookaburra Genesis (at least I think the Genesis had those colours).

Yeah you're right. I remember that kind of decal when I had a genesis thunder a while back :)

Yeah, they had a boom boom 150/175 in both the red and blue stickers in globe. Looked nice bats and picked up well.

Those BoomBoom's look very nice. Bit of a trek to try a few out though

Bit late really but I've had my hands on the new Slazenger V100 for the past week or two knocking it in. It isn't a £250 blade, infact one of the lower bleached ones, don't let this put you off as it has 10 straight grains and one small knot just above half-way on the blade. It also has a butterfly half-way up the blade but doesn't look unsightly. Comes with a lime toe guard and white octopus grip.

The bat has unbelievable balance, it feels very, very nice playing shots and for about 2.10/2.11 picks up surprisingly well. There is lots of concaving with a mid middle which seems good with a mallet. Edges are a fair size, at a guess about 28mm with a fairly raised spine and also a oval handle. There is quite a large bow in the blade and wouldn't be disappointed if I was given it as a gift.

I think £60 was paid for it and imo that's good value for money. Without the knot and the discolouration from the bleach this could easily be regarded as a nice bat.
