Did you check the bat was knocked in sufficiently before you used it in the nets against a bowling machine?

BC - if he pays for the knocking in service, then it's up to them to knock it in properly!
It sounds as if it may be surface cracks but pictures will be best to help everyone determine!

I agree completely, it should be done properly but I wouldn't take someones word for it. I'd check and if I wasn't satisfied it would go back for more knocking in but that's why I always do it myself, I just don't trust that it will be done thoroughly.

Having said that, it is a piece of wood and those bowling machine balls can be ferocious.

had mine knocked in as match ready so just used it in nets but difference between match ready and knocked in
