hi all
i recently purchased a mongoose from talent cricket which i dont advise you shop there! i have used it in 1 netting session and its cracked 9 times all on the inside edge within about 5 inches of each other. is this normal? and where do i stand with the people i bought the bat from?

i will send a picture up as soon as possible
and i had payed 20 quid for it to be knocked in and oiled and when i recieved it went against a bowling machine and when i came to use it after i did i lookedd at the cracks pulled the sheet up and the wood looked extremely dry

if they knocked it in take it back! they should swap it or give you a refund!

Thats good, at least they cant say you didnt knock it in! Make sure you keep hold of the receipt

Would definitley take it back then mate as soon as you can and don't leave the shop until they sort you out.

bought it from the shop in person and i have just rang them and there saying its not there fault basically and it would have to go back to mongoose

Send it back to Talent Cricket - who will inspect it and possibly return it to us (Mongoose Cricket Ltd)

If you can post photos of the bat I can advise the best course of action.

3 weeks ago if it was upto me i would just say money back and go elsewhere but they wont do it

Thats pretty standard for most retailers tbh, they will usually give you store credit rather than a full refund
