possibly - it is difficult to tell because of the angle and the glove. Also Sachin apparently doesn't have the biggest hands and uses a very thick grip so may not be able to hold the bat is a totally traditional way. A small margin with the top hand has less of a detrimental effect than with the bottom hand, in my opinion

I did see somewhere that he uses youth gloves as he likes them to be tight
